Dawna Stone is an author of 5 books, business owner, entrepreneur, self-made millionaire and motivational speaker. Dawna believes her Wall Street finance experience and Fortune 500 Consulting background helped catapult her entrepreneurial success. Dawna launched the award-winning national magazine, Women’s Running, in 2004 and the Women’s Half Marathon Series (5 events across the country—San Diego, CA; Nashville, TN; St. Petersburg, FL; Minneapolis, MN and Scottsdale, AZ) in 2009. She sold both companies to the industry leader in 2012.
In additional to speaking all over the country about business success, as a certified health coach, Dawna also appears regularly on local and national television for her health and wellness knowledge. Dawna has appeared on The Today Show, MARTHA, MSNBC, Bethenny, HSN, and morning news programs on all four major networks—NBC, CBS, ABC and FOX. She also hosted her own segment on FOX called “Healthy Living with Dawna Stone” and her own radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio called “Health & Fitness Talk with Dawna Stone.” Dawna regularly writes for popular magazines and websites.

- Chief Marketing Officer for a $700-million publicly traded company, directing the marketing activities for more than 68 locations nationwide
- Senior Vice President of the Active Sports Network, initially a 200-person dot-com company that is thriving today with more than 2,500 employees
- President and General Manager of PR*Nutrition, a $20-million sports nutrition company
- Strategy Consultant for Deloitte Consulting where she advised senior level executives at Fortune 500 companies
- Financial Analyst for Wall Street investment bank, Morgan Stanley
In 2005, Dawna appeared on and won NBC’s “The Apprentice: Martha Stewart.” She spent the following year working closely with Martha Stewart developing a variety of projects for Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia.

Dawna has an undergraduate degree from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business at UCLA. Dawna is also an avid runner and triathlete having competed in every distance from a 5k fun run to the Hawaii Ironman. She lives in St. Petersburg, FL with her husband, nine-year-old daughter, eight-year-old son and 17-year- old “puppy.”
