No-Cook Strawberry Plum Balsamic Compote

Unlike traditional compote, this strawberry plum compote doesn’t involve cooking and is plenty sweet without adding any refined sugar. Placed over vanilla yogurt, it’s a treat both kids and adults will love.

No-Cook Strawberry Plum Balsamic Compote

Ingredients
  • 1cup strawberriessliced
  • 1 plumsliced
  • 1tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • 2cups plain yogurt
  • 1/2teaspoon vanilla
  • 1teaspoon honey
  • 1 mint leafchiffonade

Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl with lid combine strawberries, plum and balsamic vinegar. Let sit at room temperature for 15 – 20 minutes.
  2. In a medium bowl combine yogurt, vanilla and honey.
  3. Divide yogurt between two plates, spoon on compote and top with mint.
